Kirsten Drejer, M.Sc., Ph.D.
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer
Kirsten Drejer has more than 20 years of international experience from the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Before joining Symphogen she held several scientific and managerial positions in Novo Nordisk, including four years as Director of Diabetes Discovery, and three years as Corporate Facilitator at Novo.
Kirsten Drejer is a Board member of Symphogen, Danisco A/S, Bioneer A/S and The Danish National Advanced Technology Foundation, and she is on the Advisory Boards of The DTU Systems biology and The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.
  
  
 Thomas Feldthus, M.Sc., MBA
Co-founder and Chief Financial Officer
Before joining Symphogen, Mr. Feldthus served as Investment Manager at Novo A/S. Between 1996 and 1999 he was Corporate Development Manager at Novo Nordisk A/S, and prior to that he was Director of Business Development at Cheminova Agro A/S. Mr. Feldthus has extensive experience with business development, international sales, marketing, and project management and holds a M.Sc. from the Technical University of Denmark and an MBA (Sloan Fellow) from London Business School.
  
  
 

Jørgen Petersen, M.D., DMSc
Chief Development Officer
Dr. Petersen joined Symphogen after serving at Genmab A/S since 2002. Dr. Petersen was employed as Medical Director and worked as Vice President with the development of several monoclonal antibody programs from early stage to phase III while at Genmab. Prior to this employment, Dr. Petersen was Head of Rheumatology at Rigshospitalet (Copenhagen University Hospital) and served in parallel as associate and full Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Copenhagen. Dr. Petersen has significant international experience from his time as visiting investigator in Molecular and Experimental Medicine at the Institute of Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. Dr. Petersen has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and several book chapters within the fields of cellular immunology, inflammation, rheumatology, hematology and immuno-pharmacology.

  
 Adriann W. Sax, B.Sc., MBA
Chief Business Officer
Before Symphogen, Adriann most recently served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy, Strategic Marketing and Alliances at King Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this most recent position, she served as Executive Vice President, Business Development and Strategic Planning at King leading many successful transactions. Prior to this position Adriann Sax held leadership roles at Merck, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Roche Laboratories and Sterling Drug and made important contributions in the areas of oncology, transplantation and diagnostic imaging.
Adriann Sax serves as a Director on the National Advisory Board of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association and Foundation Associate of the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Healthcare Foundation.
Adriann Sax holds an MBA in Marketing from the Keller Graduate School of Management and a BS in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Delaware.
