Symphogen, the Antibody Center of Excellence within the Servier Group, is dedicated to developing antibody-based therapeutic products for treating cancer and neuroinflammatory diseases. Our Analytical Development team plays a crucial role in advancing our targets through lead selection, clinical development, and commercialization.
We are strengthening our capabilities in process development of conjugation reactions and subsequent analysis of conjugated material of Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADCs) and seeking a scientist or similar professional for a postdoctoral position within our Analytical development team in close collaboration with the Drug Substance Development department. Our state-of-the-art laboratory is equipped to handle all aspects of protein testing, including (U)HPLCs, MS, iCIEF, CE-SDS, MFI, CD, ELISA, DSC, DLS, and MALS. The department comprises 20 scientists and technicians specializing in protein analysis to support method development, troubleshooting, process development, validation, stability studies, and more, in collaboration with colleagues from other departments within Symphogen, Servier, and at CMOs.
This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dedicated scientific team working in an innovative and important area, focusing on the analysis and conjugation chemistry of linker/payload and antibodies.
The ideal candidate for this position has:
- 2-3 years of experience in protein chemistry
- A Ph.D. degree within protein chemistry, analysis or similar.
- Profound experience with HPLC, preferably within 2d-HPLC.
- Experience with analytical techniques such as SEC, CIEX, RPC, HIC, and HILIC
- Hands-on laboratory experience in general, and specifically, with different kinds of conjugation chemistry.
- Familiarity with other protein analysis techniques like CE, MS, or biophysical methods

Duration: This is a 1½-year temporary position with the possibility of an additional 1½-year extension. Expected start date as soon as possible.
