Symphogen has entered an exciting phase as an Antibody Center of Excellence for Servier with a continued focus on the discovery and early development of novel antibody-based therapeutic products for the treatment of cancer and other diseases. To help us on this mission we have an open position as a Senior/Principal Bioanalytical Scientist in the Bioassay Department. In this role you will be responsible for the nonclinical and clinical bioanalytical packages of several projects.
Responsibilities includes:
- Design, implementation and validation of nonclinical and clinical bioanalytical assays (PK and ADA) according to guidelines
- Nonclinical bioanalytical sample analysis from non-regulated studies
- Be an integral part in defining and developing the strategy of bioanalytical and immunogenicity testing.
- Scientifically, oversee the transfer and validation of bioanalytical assays (PK & ADA) to contract research organizations incl. oversight of regulated bioanalytical sample analysis
- Member of cross-functional project teams driving projects towards clinical trials
- Member of clinical study team as bioanalytical representative
- Close collaboration with Symphogen laboratory technicians in experiment design
- Collaboration with scientists and with stakeholders within the organization at both the Ballerup site, the R&D site in Paris and at CROs
- Take part in implementation of AI and automatization to optimize workflows and processes within the team
Required Qualifications
- Relevant education as cand.scient., cand.polyt., cand.pharm. or equivalent
- Strong scientific background in bioanalytical sciences, preferable more than 5 years
- Industry or similar experience with therapeutic antibodies. ADC knowledge is considered an advantage
- Can independently design and evaluate experiments within the field of nonclinical and clinical bioanalysis
- Experience with different immunoassay platforms, e.g. Gyrolab, MSD and ELISA
- Experience with CRO interaction
- Experience with bioanalytical endpoints in nonclinical and clinical trial protocols
- Experience with nonclinical pharmacokinetic analysis (non-compartmental analysis/NCA) and reporting of nonclinical PK studies (non-regulated) is an advantage
- Experience with providing input to regulatory documents is an advantage
- Strong communication and language skills, written and verbal (Danish/English)
- Self-driven, flexible, team player with commitment, quality minded, proactive and humorous
