In this position in the Cell Culture Team you will be working with development and troubleshooting of mammalian cell culture processes, including tech transfer of cultivation processes to a GMP production site.
You will be partly responsible for development and optimization of mammalian cultivation processes, keeping the upstream laboratories operational, including procurement of consumables for the lab, installation of new equipment and maintenance of existing equipment in the lab.
All the work will be done in cooperation with the other technicians and scientists in the team.
Area of responsibilities:
- Planning and execution of cell culture processes in laboratory-scale (from shakers, AMBR15, AMBR250, 10L up to 50L scale)
- As part of the upstream process execution work during some weekends is required
- Daily operation of the cell culture laboratory including maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Process tech transfer and support to GMP sites
- Procurement of consumables for the lab and installation of new equipment
- Processing of data and reporting of lab experiments
- Establish and/or update of work instructions for equipment
- Optimization of processes and workflows in the laboratory
Qualifications
- Relevant education as technician or equivalent
- Experience with aseptic techniques and handling of cell cultures
- Solid background with cell cultivation in bioreactors (e.g. AMBR15, AMBR250, 10L up to 50L scale)
- Experience with depth filtration used for harvest of cell cultivations
- Experience with IT at user level (Word, Excel)
- Good language skills in English and/or Danish
- Good collaboration skills, flexible, high commitment, reliable and well organized
Additional qualifications
One or more of the following qualifications will be appreciated – but is not a prerequisite:
- Experience with transfection methods and handling of cells in plate format
- Experience with plasmid preparation and standard molecular techniques
