Technician for Analytical Support

This position as technician is located in the Analytical support team in the Analytics and Formulation department, and is a great opportunity for a highly organized and skilled analytical technician, to work with a wide range of analytical techniques and supporting activities across our research and development programs. Analytical Support is responsible for analytical testing of samples from all development stages incl. lead selection, process development, formulation development, stability and characterization, and the team conducts method development and -maturation as well as validation. The team currently employs 4 scientists and 5 technicians.

The analytical laboratory is equipped with a wide range of analytical techniques such as UHPLC, MS, iCIEF, CGE/CE-SDS, ELISA, MFI, CD, DSC, MALS etc.

The right candidate is self-driven and can execute on tasks independently, can perform routine analysis as well as experimental studies, and is able to write SOPs or other documentation when required. It is important that the candidate is highly flexible and can work with a quality mindset in a non-GMP environment. 

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant education as technician (Laborant, Bioanalytiker) or equivalent
  • Experience with traditional analytical methods for testing of protein quality
  • Organized, self-driven, team player with commitment, initiative and humor 

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience with (U)HPLC, iCIEF and/or CGE/CE-SDS
  • Experience with development of analytical methods
  • Experience with qualification of equipment
  • Experience with documentation at GMP level and method validation
  • Experience with Chromeleon
