Scientist – Bioassay Development, Temporary Position

Due to a maternity leave we are seeking a highly motivated scientist with theoretical and hands-on experience with immunoassays and cell-based potency assays, in a one-year temporary position. You will contribute to our nonclinical and clinical portfolio by developing and implementing various bioassays internally as well as at CRO´s. The ideal candidate has industry experience using bioassays for antibodies or other biopharmaceuticals and is stimulated by working in a dynamic and innovative environment. You plan and conduct experiments by yourself, and/or with the help of our technicians and, also oversee contracted work at CRO´s.

Qualifications

  • Relevant education as cand.pharm., cand.scient., cand.polyt., or equivalent
  • Strong scientific background in bioassay development
  • Industry or similar experience with biologics, ideally therapeutic antibodies
  • Can independently design and execute bioassays relevant for nonclinical and clinical development of therapeutic antibodies, e.g. potency, effector-function, PK, PD, ADA assays
  • Experience with different kind of immunoassay platforms, e.g. ELISA, FACS, Gyrolab, MSD
  • Experience with CRO interaction and bioanalytical endpoints in clinical trial protocols is an advantage
  • Innovative, flexible and quality minded
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
